Join NowPsychedelic Breathwork Class - Holotropic Live Recorded Class
This is a recorded, guided psychedelic breathwork session from a live, in person class.
This practice is rooted in holotropic style diaphragmatic breathing, using sustained, rhythmic breath, music, and somatic awareness to guide the body through distinct stages of activation, expression, and integration. As the breath deepens and the music builds, the nervous system shifts out of habitual patterns, allowing emotion, sensation, memory, and insight to surface.
The session progresses intentionally. Early stages focus on breath and rhythm. As intensity builds, participants may move into expressive release, which can include sound, movement, or a primal scream. This expression is not forced or performative. It emerges naturally as the body discharges stored tension and suppressed emotional energy.
From a physiological perspective, this style of breathing increases oxygenation, stimulates the autonomic nervous system, and temporarily quiets the analytical mind. This creates access to deeper brain and body processes, allowing stored stress and emotional material to move through sensation rather than thought.
During the practice, participants may experience
• emotional release or emotional clarity
• physical sensations such as tingling, warmth, or vibration
• spontaneous movement or vocal expression
• visual imagery, memories, or insight
• periods of deep stillness or rest
Experiences vary widely. All responses are normal.
This class was recorded live. You may hear breathing, movement, or emotional expression from other participants. This is a natural part of group holotropic breathwork and often helps normalize the process and create a sense of shared presence.
The session is guided with trauma informed awareness and nervous system sensitivity. You remain in choice at all times. You may slow the breath, pause, or stop if needed.
Not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, a history of seizures, severe cardiovascular conditions, or acute psychiatric conditions without professional clearance.
Please create a quiet, comfortable space where you can lie down uninterrupted. Hydration before and after is recommended. Allow time following the session for rest, reflection, or journaling.
This practice is not about forcing release.
It is about allowing what the body is ready to move.
